Changarrito with Josué Ramírez (Rawmirez)  Mexic-Arte Museum , Austin, TX  Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 12 – 3 pm Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 12 – 3 pm Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 12 – 3 pm Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 12 – 3 pm Josué Ramírez (Rawmirez) is a border artist living and practicing in the Rio Grande Valley. Originally from Ciudad Mante Tamaulipas, Mexico, Rawmirez migrated to the US alongside his family as a child. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A in Mexican American Studies. Rawmirez focuses on stenciling as his main artistic method, but also creates works on canvas as well as producing street art. Additionally, his creations are not limited to a flat surface and include sculptures and mixed media pieces. In his work, Rawmirez  explores themes such as sexuality and varying identities, while referencing popular culture, flora, traditional Mexican imagery, bilingualism, graffiti culture and patterns. Inauguración "Residencias Changarrito " / Stéphane Ducret primer artista del Proyecto. Stéphane, artista suizo, arriba al Estudio Changarrito, en Ciudad de México, a fines de 2015.  Ducret se alojó en el Estudio y trabajó con sus lienzos, bastidores, pintura al óleo, preparada en diversas capas y fondos, para su exposición individual, en Galería Ethra , planeada para Abril de 2016.  En el Estudio Changarrito, Stéphane dio muchas entrevistas, como por ejemplo, para  'Mula Blanca' , 'Arca Lab' , 'Art in DF' , varios de esos medios lo filmaron mientras pintaba su gran obra, uno de ellos para realizar un documental.
